By Anthony Aramendia
Friends of the Park are embracing the arrival of an early spring, and with that, we need YOUR help on a community volunteer project taking place this weekend, on March 17th. In celebration of St.Patrick’s Day, we have named this weekends project “Go Green!!”.
The project consists of re-vegetating the lake shore of Lake Hodge with specific natural aquatic plants, as well as cleaning up Lake Hodge Park as well. The event will take place between 9AM till Noon. Bring some dirty old sneakers if your wanting to work on the lake shore. Lake Hodge park is located at 880 Osceola Trail off Timberlane Trail, which is off 434 (Map-quest it).
